All pricing comes from a stone fabricator. They factor in their labor and time to template, cut, fabricate, and install the stone slabs that you select in our showrooms. Fabricators are specialized subcontractors who utilize specific processes and equipment to create the finished, final countertop that gets installed. If you are working with a trade professional, such as a general contractor, interior designer, or architect, they may already have a specialized fabricator they utilize to cut their stone. We also have lists of top local fabrication shops that we can recommend for your project if you do not have a fabricator or are not working with a trade professional.
Yes, you will need a fabricator in order to purchase our stone slabs from The Stone Collection. Stone fabricators take our raw slab materials and template, cut, fabricate, and install the stone you select in our facility. We do not provide installation services or pricing for your project.
We will hold your selected materials for 14 days, allowing you time to secure bids with your fabricator. After a 2 week period, we request a 50% deposit from your fabricator.

We do not provide installation services or fabrication. We work with top local fabrication shops in all of our markets. Each of our showrooms maintains a list of these fabrication companies. This list is available by selecting any location on our website and clicking on “Fabricator Directory” up top.
Prior to placing slabs on hold with us, your fabricator will confirm how many slabs are needed for your project based on your measurements.
Hand selection is the process of selecting or picking the exact slabs for your project within a block of available stone. This process happens Monday-Friday at all of our showrooms. Because we do not have warehouse staff available, we are unable to provide hand selection assistance on Saturdays.
Stone fabricators are the specialized subcontractors that take our stone materials and template, fabricate, and install the stone in your home, business, or wherever your project may be. We sell our stone slabs directly to stone fabricators. Fabricators will also provide all pricing on our materials for your project, including their installation.
