From Kitchen & Bath Design News (full article):

Working with Claire Thompson of architecture firm Gensler, the design team at The Stone Collection set out to create a space that would function both as an eye-catching gallery-style showroom and a safe and functional warehouse. A combination of Gensler’s architectural prowess and The Stone Collection’s internal natural and engineered stone expertise produced a striking 110,000-sq.-ft. venue to showcase the company’s wide range of surfacing materials.

Visitors to the showroom are greeted by a grand 20′ welcome desk, topped with black petrified wood from The Stone Collection’s Semi-Precious line and highlighted by a credenza with four slabs of yellow petrified wood. A 10′ waterfall of krystallus quartzite and bookmatched amazonite quartzite create a bold statement, while faux trees bring an organic feel to the space.

Much of the facility’s flooring is Neolith’s 6mm Basalt Grey, with accents of Marmocer tile in two of the luxury galleries. The walls boast a wide variety of surfaces as well, including eight slabs from the Semi-Precious collection, backlit with LED panels to create an illuminated display designed to capture the imagination of all who visit the showroom.
